What is RNP?

The Recovery Navigator Program (RNP) is a statewide effort, in partnership with Spokane Regional Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization to provide community-based outreach, intake, assessment, and connection to services. These services support individuals with substance use disorders (SUD), including individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders.

The Recovery Navigator Program is voluntary and non-coercive, with individuals referred to the RNP retaining the right to decline participation without fear of penalties or future repercussions (denial of future services). In addition, abstinence from substance use is not a requirement to receive services through the RNP.

RNP Referral Program

We offer support for individuals facing substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health issues through three types of referrals:

  1. Point of Contact Referrals by Law Enforcement: Law enforcement professionals can refer individuals to our program as a point of contact.
  2. Social contact referrals: Services providers, community members, first responders, and friends/family can refer individuals they know who may benefit from our services.
  3. Self-Referral: Individuals struggling with substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health issues can also refer themselves to our program.

Rest assured, all referrals are kept confidential, and no information is disclosed about who made the referral. If you’re aware of someone who could benefit from our outreach team’s assistance, please complete the referral form below and submit it. We’re here to help!
