The Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) has been established by the County Commissioners to assist in the development of programs, policies, rules and ordinances pertaining to the Solid Waste Division of Pend Oreille County.
In 2009 SWAC has been meeting monthly on the first Thursday of each month from 3-5pm in the Commissioners meeting room at 625 West 4th Street in Newport, Washington.
The next SWAC scheduled meeting is in the fall of 2010. Watch for the date and time in the Miner Newspaper. The public is always welcome.
