The Pend Oreille County Planning Commission is a group of nine appointed volunteers. There are three representatives from each district.

This commission is charged with many important current and long range planning functions.
The Planning Commission usually meets on the second Tuesday of every month to hear current land use permit applications. This meeting is held at the Cusick Community Center.
