Pend Oreille County Community Development Department
"The object of government is the welfare of the people." "Conservation means development as much as it does protection. I recognize the right and duty of this generation to develop and use the natural resources of our land; but I do not recognize the right to waste them, or to rob, by wasteful use, the generations that come after us."
"The New Nationalism" speech, Osawatomie, Kansas, August 31, 1910

Biography
I was born in Spokane Washington. Raised in Newman Lake and spent many of my summers growing up recreating in Pend Oreille County. My family has strong roots in Pend Oreille County and I am a 4th generation resident. After attending Western Washington University I could not wait to get back home and took the first opportunity that arose. I enjoy fly fishing, hunting and hiking in the back country of Pend Oreille County. This County has so much to offer and I feel fortunate to work here.
