The Pend Oreille County Sheriff's Investigative/Drug Unit focuses on identifying and prosecuting distributors and users of methamphetamine, marijuana or any other illegal drugs or any illegally obtained prescription drugs. Detectives also work closely with patrol deputies and all other law enforcement agency's in and around the county to identify subjects selling or possessing illegal drugs.
The Investigations/Drug Unit is staffed by a Supervisor, two Detectives and a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. One of the Detectives and the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney are grant funded.
