A Message From The Assessor
Annual Revaluation Update
It's been a long hard road, but we're moving right along. I'll give you an update on the "Annual Revaluation" plan. We've switched over to our new software system last August and have been working out little and not so little quirks in the system ever since. With the progress that we've made I felt it was time to move forward. The Annual Revaluation Plan was made and sent off to the Department of Revenue (DOR) for their approval. If they approve the plan we will start the annual revaluation process in the 2011 revaluation year for taxes payable in 2012, that's this next year's cycle. Of course, this is pending the DOR approval, which we should be finding out soon.

Thank you,
James McCroskey, Assessor
